I live in the mountains, our water is so filled with lime that when you boil the water it has a white film across the top. I have to use steel wool to get it off my stainless steel pots and pans. We have to buy our water for the house of course, just like any other, but then we have to buy water to cook and drink. The water tastes so bad and it even dries out our skin so bad. The reason that I would love to win the RKIN Home Water Filtration System is because I believe it will drastically improve my quality of life, as well as the lives of my family and my future grandchildren. About two years ago I read an amazing book that has since changed the way I view the world I live in, and as a result I became concerned for the health of my family as well as my own. This eye opening experience triggered a thirst for knowledge and truth, and in the course of my research I learned about the pineal gland and the importance that it plays in human development, enlightenment, and even our level of intelligence. When I learned through many different sources and resources, that flouride and chlorine are major contributors to the calcification of this very tiny yet very important gland nestled in our brains, and also that a very very high percentage of our public water systems in the USA are both flouridated and chlorinated ( not to mention the fact that nearly all dental hygiene products contain flouride and other pineal gland calcifying ingredients ), I immediately ceased the use of any products containing flouride and chlorine, as well as ceasing the use of tap water for cooking or drinking.. Then i found out that avoiding these was not enough! Our bodies actually absorb both flourideAND chlorine through our skin! My heart sank. I began searching for shower head attatchments that could filter these chemicals from the water we bathe and shower in. Although we do eveything we can to eliminate the igestion and absorbtion of flouride and chlorine, the absoluter best and most thurough solutions are either a. well water or b. a home water filtration system. Flouride is especially alarming because there is compelling evidence from researching showing that the ingestion and absorbtion of this chemical is very like ly a major contibutor to early mature development in young girls, extremely high stress, depression, and even causes low IQ levels!!! This is just to name a few, not to mention the fact that flouride has absolutely no health benefits what so ever, contradicting the belief that it prevents tooth decay.
This is why my family and i would be forever grateful and blessed to win this gift.
Being aware of the effects of climate change and doing a better job of looking after our planet, animals and human beings is very important. A filtration system of such a high quality would help us take a step to addressing many of these concerns.
Cannot think of anything more important than clean water.
I would love to win this system for my parents home. They moved from a rural well with pure, clean water to the city with high chlorine levels. They need a filter just like this one.
